Our story
McClurg Flooring was built on more than experience—it was built on generations of hard work, family, and pride in the trade.
Long before the business had a name, flooring was already part of Ryan McClurg’s life. He grew up learning the trade from his father alongside his brothers, spending years around the tools, materials, and craftsmanship that would eventually shape his career. After serving in the U.S. Army, Ryan returned home and continued working in flooring, turning what he had learned as a kid into a lifelong profession.
The dream that became McClurg Flooring
Over the years, Ryan gained extensive hands-on experience in installation, hardwood, sanding and refinishing, and larger flooring projects. But the dream became bigger than simply doing the work. With the constant support of his wife, the two shared a vision of creating something of their own—something that could carry the McClurg name and the family history behind it.
What began as generations of experience passed down through family is now a business built on craftsmanship, integrity, and commitment to the community they call home. From restoring the character of an older home to installing flooring in a brand-new space, every project is an opportunity to put a little extra care back into the hometown that helped shape them.
